Our Story
From a chance meeting on a boat in Thailand to a journey across continents, Monique and Ainhoa have built AllAboutMusic as a space where music, movement and community come together to inspire, connect and heal.
AllAboutMusic was born from a friendship that began over 15 years ago on a rickety ferry to the Thai island of Koh Tao. Monique and Ainhoa met as solo travellers, became diving buddies, and soon found themselves surrounded by a global mix of new friends, nights by the bonfire, and music under the stars.
Over the years, life took them to Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Vancouver, and London — sometimes together, sometimes apart — but always connected through a shared love of live music, sport, and the challenge of pushing each other to go further and faster.
Both have been shaped by sharing their lives with those who have suffered of mental health and addiction, making them strong, compassionate, and driven to create something meaningful.
AllAboutMusic is the result: a space where music, movement, and community come together to inspire, connect, and heal.

With 20+ years of corporate experience, Monique brings logic, creativity, organisation and a deep sense of passion for making this world a better place to AllAboutMusic. Having quite a few family members with mental health and addiction issues and music being central in her life, Monique sees AllAboutMusic as the perfect intersection of her personal mission and professional expertise.
Not a runner when this idea came to life, she's definitely one now—a transformation that embodies exactly what AllAboutMusic is all about. Monique understands firsthand how artist-inspired challenges can push people beyond their comfort zones and create genuine change in their lives.
Her corporate background spans strategy, operations, and team leadership, giving her the business acumen to turn passionate ideas into sustainable impact. But it's her personal connection to mental health advocacy and her belief in music's power to heal and motivate that drives her at AllAboutMusic.
When she's not coordinating artist challenges or connecting with brand partners, you'll find Monique training for her next race—proof that sometimes the best ideas are the ones that change the founder just as much as they change the world.

I’m Ainhoa Sevillano-Paton, a purpose-driven leader with 25+ years’ global experience in banking, risk, and governance, and over 15 years on boards. A qualified Barrister with a passion for pro bono legal work, I’ve lived in four countries, travelled to more than seventy, and speak six languages.
I come from a prominent cultural environment, having grown up surrounded by theatre founders, cultural directors, and journalists. This early immersion in creativity and expression shaped my lifelong belief in the power of culture to connect and transform.
Beyond my professional life, I’m an avid reader, an amateur writer, a self-taught (and proudly average) painter, and a left-handed guitarist. These passions keep me curious, grounded, and always exploring new ways to express ideas and connect with others.
As Founder of AllAboutMusic, I channel my love for culture, community, and connection into making music a transformative force for people everywhere. My career blends global leadership with a deep commitment to fostering collaboration and creativity across borders and disciplines.
